Game won't start after champ select

Since whatever patch/hotfix came out on Tuesday of this last week, I'm unable to progress past champ select. No game mode (including TFT) will load past the client. I've tried disabling my antivirus and firewall, a full repair through the client, hextech repair tool's repatch option, and totally reinstalling the game (manually while wiping any remaining league/temp files, and also using the reinstall option in hextech). No luck with anything. Anyone have any ideas? Nothing has changed on my system between league working and not working besides the patch (as far as I know). League works fine from another computer on my network, so I don't think there are networking issues. Thanks!

If anyone cares, the problem ended up being Kaspersky Secure Connection, which is some VPN software (along with a network adapter) that gets installed along with Kaspersky antivirus. It is not Kaspersky itself, and Kaspersky AV is not causing any issues. The weird thing is that I had Kaspersky Secure Connection disabled, and was for certain not using it's VPN. Upon uninstalling, the network adapter is gone, and my issue disappeared. Seems sketch that this was causing issues even though it was supposedly disabled...
