HOTKEYS not working (qwerdf) Chat works fine

I now have made it a habit to, at the start of each game press qwer and listen for the confirmation sound the game gives me , telling me I haven't leveled the spell yet. I i don't hear it i immediately restart and usually this solves it; but sometimes it take 4-5!! restarts.. I completely restored my computer 6 months ago and this issue was solved, where before it would happen to me about 3/5 games. now the issue is coming back.

more detail; chat works perfectly, abilities sometimes work when i hold windows key, and through my past experience, you need to restart the entire client for a higher chance of a fix. this issue is bizarre and has been haunting me and others for years according to my google search. It's a pretty fatal bug for someone who enjoys playing ranked. Please help; will give more info if needed.

I have had this happen to me for, well, a couple years now. It did it on the old PC I used to play on quite frequently, I would have to completely restart my system (I would usually find a hotkey not working and just immediately hold my power button to hard power down) which would leave me out of action for a good 5 minutes or more while I started back up and re-loaded the games. Now with my new PC I did not have the issue for quite a while but it has started back up again, luckily the new PC restarts and load LOL in about 2 minutes but it still can immediately set a bad tone for the game.

But yeah, same issue, for a long time, and have tried all fixes mentioned by Riot or other players like holding the alt or windows keys or re-assign your hotkeys. All of them only work temporarily, and for me at least completely restarting the computer is the only thing that works 100%. I have had several games recently where other also complain about it and leave game to restart in an attempt to fix.

It is getting kind of sad that this has been happening to people this long, this consistently and there has yet to be a fix for the issue.
