IP didnt deduct when i purchased a champion

I bought karthus with the 3199 ip i had. when it said "champion purchased" i x-ed out and i realized i still had the 3199 ip. i then tried to buy another champ and it would not allow me to. i dont know if its a glitch or a bug but it may have been a concern to lol and players may abuse it.
