MAC Client Crashing

In playing a normal game, the MAC client has been experiencing several problems. 1.) When I die the game usually freezes for a couple seconds without the animation that I have died and then I eventually get the message that I have died.
2.) Randomly throughout the game I will experience some intermittent glitches where nothing happens for a couple of seconds. 3.) When League of Legends crashes and I try to reconnect, it won't allow me to. I get the "League Of Legends has unexpectedly crashed" message.
