Reksai tunnel not going away

I am watching my boyfriend play a game, and this reksai tunnel is not going away. He's stood for over the amount of time necessary to destroy the tunnel, on both ends, and it is not disappearing. This is the only time I have seen this bug, but it has been persisting throughout the game's duration.
