[GAMEPLAY] Not allowed to remake a game with DC'd Gnar

Title says it all. After we realized the gnar was afk my team waited for a remake. However when we tried remaking we were told that we needed at least one afk player on our team. At first we thought the gnar trolled and stayed in base but after the game ended it was clear he never connected. I sent a ticket to riot support and was given the 'rules' on when remake is possible but that didn't help since we met every condition. I was then told posting it here would help. I'm new to the forums so I'm not sure how this works. I lost 18 lp and at this point I don't expect it to come back but I just want to make sure this doesn't happen again. Thank you for your time.
