Didn't get Baron Recall as Kai'sa (with Video) [GAMEPLAY]
We got baron as a team, I recalled along with the team, they recalled with baron buff (faster) but I didn't.

Something else to point out is that your teammates all started their recalls after you. I think what you've encountered isn't a special interaction with Kai'sa; if you recall right as baron is going to die, you might not have received the buff yet.
In the video it shows the channel started clearly after the baron buff is received by the team. However, I believe there is a cast time before the actual channel to recall starts. I postulate that perhaps the recall button was pressed just a tiny bit too early and recall had been "cast" before the buff was received. If recall has a 0.5s cast time before the channel starts, this would seem reasonable according to the timestamps in the video (the baron was taken somewhere between 9-10s, closer to 10s and the recall channel had been started right after 11s).
The second possibility is that baron buff takes maybe half a second to be active; I've had my fair share of starting a normal recall right after killing baron and taking a quick step to get the baron-enhanced recall, but perhaps I've fallen victim to what I described above.
