was stuck in champ selection in rank que for like 8 mins. the chat was working but everyone was stuck waiting for some guy on the other team to load or something.

Experienced the same thing here, someone on the other team was picking their champion, but they never selected one and ran out of time, except we didn't get kicked out. Everyone still able to chat one another but there is no timer anymore.
Have been sitting in the lobby for 45 minutes now scared to lose lp.
