Overheal doesn't work with Garen's passive.
Not sure if this is a bug or an oversight but Garen doesn't receive a shield from excess healing from his passive.

That's regen, all champions have it.
As has been stated and to further clarify, the game does not consider regen effects like Garen's passive as healing. To see this, play garen and then look at your total healing in the postgame stats. You'll barely have 1000 healing, which feels pretty weird seeing as you can go from 100 hp to 4k hp in about 10 seconds with his passive, but it's because it's not healing but regen.
um regardless if you are at full health you STOP HEALING regardless of how u are healed, spells or another ability from another champion.....and the term OVERHEAL is what it says it is, OVER meaning over the MAX????? if something is said it should mean it i think it's bogus to be honest.....
