Updated to macOS Mojave and I noticed that League Voice was not working. I went over to the control panel's security & privacy center and noticed that League of Legends was not listed as an allowed application. No matter what I do I can't trigger a way to allow this permission setting to work. I hate using 3rd party apps while playing, so I'm looking for a workaround.

And yes, we pay money for this game too. But they don’t care. We have to wait and hope that they will not do that in 6 months later .

lémon Ice Tea2 votesWell, I have solved my problem by reseting PRAM. After reboot, lot of apps started to ask for permission. So, it's worth to try.
Here’s how to reset your PRAM:
Shut down your machine. Yes, all the way down, not sleep or logging out. Press the power button and then press command-option-p-r. You have to make sure you get those keys pressed before the gray screen comes up or it won’t work. Hold those keys down until your Mac reboots again and you here the startup chime. Let go of the keys and let your Mac reboot normally. When you log back in, you’ll probably will have to adjust your mouse speed, time and date/timezone, and a few other things, but otherwise you should be good to go. Back in the day, we would often let the PRAM zap several times (like 2 or 3) to make sure it was clear. Sometimes, in fact, the machine needed that kind of kick in the pants to clear everything out. However, today’s Macs seem to be good to go with a one shot zap, so no worries there.

One of my regular teammates can't use Discord on his system so we're really relying on in-game voice to communicate ... guess I'll report a bug as well for this

Biff Newman2 votesIT HAS BEEN NEARLY A YEAR AND RIOT IS STILL NOT ABLE TO FIX THIS ISSUE! Very sad and annoying! Now I have to use 3rd party applications like Discord, and TeamSpeak and I also have to pester my friends, mates to download and sign up at discord/TS to be able to voice chat with them. Very uncomfortable ... and I am still not sure who is the guilty, Riot or Apple, but it should be fixed ASAP! If you want I can tell you what to do, not difficult. MAKE LOL ASK FOR PERMISSION TO USE MICROPHONE ... Bind it to an event ie. clicking play, logging in, ANYTHING. The granted permission has to appear in the following place:
System Preferences => Security & Privacy => Privacy tab => Microphone
If LoL would ever request me to allow the use of microphone, I could find and set it at the above settings. But is has NEVER ASKED ME whether I'd like to allow LoL to use my mic or not.
Please fix it because it is very annoying.
