Can't interact with UI, move the camera, I can't play like this

So I play on a Mac for one. I keep getting this bug since well into patch 8.7 till now, where I can't interact with the game's UI and I can't edge scroll the camera. This therefore means that my camera is locked at one spot on the map and the only way to track my character is by using spacebar. Because I can't interact with the UI I cannot do any of the following:

    • click to view character stats
    • change the camera's position using the minimap (if I click several times (around 3x or more) in the same spot it eventually registers the action however)
    • issue pings (using G or V and clicking on the map/minimap doesn't work either)
    • Click to open the shop
    • Click to search for items in the shop, or clicking an item to see what else it builds into
    • Click to show my current ping which I always need to do cause my net is very unstable
  1. *Press Y to lock the camera on my character
  2. *Edging the screen to move the camera
  3. *clicking on spells to cast them
  4. *clicking to level up spells when available
  5. *Clicking to cast spells on allies or enemies (without smart cast)

On the list of things I can do:

  1. *right click to move (within what area of the map I can see of course) and attack as normal
  2. *press and hold spacebar to track my character
  3. *Use F1-5 to track my other teammates
  4. *Press P to open the shop
  5. *Right clicking to purchase items in the shop
  6. *Q/W/E/R to use skills
  7. *Ctrl-Q/W/E/R to level skills
  8. *Alt-Q/W/E/R to self cast
  9. *hovering over allies or enemies to cast spells on them

Now I have gone through several things to troubleshoot this myself. I have seen this bug occur in norms and ranked, in customs on all the maps and several champions. I repaired the client, reinstalled it about 2 times. It happened after I updated my OS to High Sierra which was just released so I thought it was due to that. I reinstalled the OS and it was momentarily fixed but it came back and reinstalling High Sierra again no longer worked. I then downgraded my OS back to Sierra the previous OS where I had no problems and it was again only solved momentarily. It's back again however where as with High Sierra the problem was consistent, now it's random. Is that better? I guess I don't really know. Is there anyone else who is experiencing a similar problem? I can't exactly play the game like this. Half of the season is gone and I can hardly play the game enough as it is due to my unpredictable internet. I don't need anymore unpredictability in my life.

Hurry and fix. [sg-shisa]
