After Game Gifting not Working [Gameplay]/ [Client]

I played with a really positive person, Strikertoto, on NA and after the game I wanted to gift them a skin. Unfortunately the mechanism to give a skin post game wasn't working, so I couldn't. I'm not entirely sure how to recreate this situation. Is there anyway I could still gift this individual without having to wait 2 weeks and add them? This is the first time this has happened to me too. Thanks in advance for any help!
