I failed to lock in on my first promo and I lost the whole series! Not only that I even lost lp. Is this a glitch or is it how its work? Either way im super pissed.
(I'm not really sure how this system works, so if this kind of post doesn't belong here I will remove it)
Icestar11861 votesThis is intended. Dodging in promos ends the series.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesNo, it does not end your series. It results in a single loss. If you would've normally dropped out of the series with a loss then yes, in that case your series would end if you dodged.
Icestar11861 votesAh. Apparently I was misinformed.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesYou can get more info on how the Promo Series works here; https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/204010760-Ranked-Play-FAQ#h6
Hyperiön1 votesUnless if they changed it, you lose your entire series. Always been like that.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesI provided the link for Icestar. You are mistaken, and it's not been that way at least since Season 4. I cannot vouch for what it might've been prior to me coming here.
Phyllophaga1 votesthanks
Deep Terror Nami1 votesYou automatically lose one match if you dodge in your series. You also lose and gain IP in your series games, so make sure you are not actually still in your series by looking in your Profile in the Leagues tab.
