Why did riot make me lose all my 3 promos because of 1 dodge?

I failed to lock in on my first promo and I lost the whole series! Not only that I even lost lp. Is this a glitch or is it how its work? Either way im super pissed.

(I'm not really sure how this system works, so if this kind of post doesn't belong here I will remove it)

This is intended. Dodging in promos ends the series.

You automatically lose one match if you dodge in your series. You also lose and gain IP in your series games, so make sure you are not actually still in your series by looking in your Profile in the Leagues tab.
