Lux ult Bug

In my game recently as Lux, I ulted the adc and it passed right through her. Her support even said "nice glitch" and my team also commented on it. Telling me im not crazy; it did hit her. I have no idea what causes something like this, but i got a little mad when denied my surefire kill and was told to report it.
