I was playing ranked these couple days and when ever we are in the champion select my screen freezes at somepoint and i cant do anything my lol client just freezes, another question is it normal that just the client its self takes up around 1.3 gig of memory , also i cant open up store at all if i click store my client just disappear im so sick of this shit screen freezes 2 games out of 3 this happen more than 15 times now.
Try repairing your client. If you don't know how, follow my instructions.
It should take a few minutes, I'm not 100% sure it will work, but it's a good shot. Afterwards try making a custom game and test it out there. Hope this helped.
This is the third post I've seen today about it, it's happend to me 3 times today lost 22 LP client freezes in champ select, I restart modem clean out PC repair league wtf man. My computer is a 1500$ computer I don't think it's my pcs fault man
Exactly wtf, riot i freeze especially during my promos! I always lose lp because of this!! So frustrating.
I think it's patch 7.7 now and this has begun to happen to me. The only thing I have changed on m computer recently is installing the Steam gaming client. My screen freezes about 1 out of 4 or 5 ques. Sometimes some white pixilation occurs as well. When quing ranked, I obviously get a "dodging" penalty and loose LP as I have to quit the client and re-login. As stated by others, massively frustrating. One other thing. When my screen freezes in champ select, more often than not I hear the music and champion select continue. Sometimes I can even lock in my champ by clicking where the lock-in button should be on the frozen screen. I have not found a fix yet. I cold, wet and hungry. Send help.
