Bug with match history blocking champ select

I was playing ranked and I am up for bronze 1 and I'm just looking at a challenger player's match history. The queue pops and I accepted it and the match history stats didn't disappear and it blocked my screen there fore I wasn't able to select my champion thus making me dodge. This is infuriating because I had one win and I had two more games and now it's only one because of what happened. Don't know if you can help me out with this incident.
