Mordekaiser Q interaction with titanic hydra

When i built titanic hydra on mordekaiser i found that when my Q was active my second and third attack sometimes didnt get the aoe effect of the hydra item. this was very inconsistend because sometimes the Q attacks did get the splash effect and sometimes those attacks didnt.
