Unable To connect to chat

"Unable to connect to chat, you may reconnect manually."

I have clicked the "reconnect to chat" button and it doesn't connect. So I'm unable to play with friends since I don't appear online.

I have restarted my computer, repaired the client, released and renewed my IP through CMD, restarted my router, tried changing the date on my computer like some of these other forum posts from a couple years ago have advised but nothing has worked. So I turn to you forum, what's next?

hey i am having an issue with logging into chat https://gyazo.com/a3dc77b2e4372c27f90babbfde3630b4 im not sure if this is a bug or not but i've tried restarting so many times on my pc and on my client aswell if you can fix it for me that would be really great!

Having the same problem as well. Tried to add it to my firewall inbound and outbound however still is not working. Will try to run as administrator to see if it fixes it.

My friend & I have had the same issue "Unable to connect to chat" since 03/03/2016 3:47:00 Pm (15:47:00)(Mountain time-zone) We have also gone through the ancient forums for our problems (attempts unsuccessful), Search for files to fix the error (no luck), even removing the game and re-downloading it in hopes of it functioning again (another attempt unsuccessful) hopefully a admin does see this thread and helps resolve our problem and future players as well :)

I am having the same issues as well.

Launcher version: 0.38.0.181 LOL Patch 6.4

Performed a file scan, changed my date, rebooted several times, doesn't appear to be on my end. Seems to be spreading to more of the environment. Time to work on the chat servers ,sounds like the famous reboot, reboot, reboot should fix it.

What is interesting is the status servers show everything is Green, but where is the Chat Client Connectivity in the status window?

I am having the same issue. it started around 1:55 am
