polymorph
Irelia did damage with her q during my polymorph(pool pary lulu). Also I polymorphed Kayle during her E and she still hit me one more time and did damage to me. Animation of her Righteous Fury worked out even when she was polymorphed.

I think they went through because Polymorph is not an instant cast ability. Polymorph actually flies through the air before it hits it's target, so their attacks most likely went in before the ability took effect.
