High res, small mouse cursor

I am currently using a 55" 4k TV for my PC monitor and its been awesome except when I play League. When the PC is set to high resolution (3840 x 2160) the cursor, player names, tooltip text, and shop text are all extremely small.

I've tried a lower res and its a bit better but.... why should players with high res monitors have to scale back? :/

I have also read an older thread that says to use yolo mouse, but I would really hope that Riot has an answer, their customer service has always been incredible in the past.

Any info would be great!
