Naut hooks lagging out when he is in a bush [Game}

i recently played a normal 5v5 draft game as Ezreal against a Naut support and during the entire laning phase when Nautalis would hook from a bush i would see the start of it then the hook would disappear and he would appear on top of me (assuming he hit me). it felt very much like fps lag but my fps was at a consistant 60 the entire time... has anyone else experienced this? What was weird to me was that it was only when he hooked from a concealed bush.
