Mouse jumping issue when trying to ping
The problem only appears recently. Whenever I tried to ping, my cursor will accelerate to the side of the screen as if I have maxed my sensitivity and acceleration. Also, the cursor feels much harder to control than before, as if the sensitivity is not stable and fluctuates. I got the same issue on both of my two razer deathadder mice. One is deathadder 2013 and the other one is deathadder elite which I just bought last month. The dpi I used was 1000, polling rate 500, acceleration disabled. Below I listed all the solutions I tried, none of them solve the problem completely except for the last one.
- Tried them on two different laptops. Both of the laptops were using windows 10. Got jumping problems on both, especially when I was trying to ping.
- Rollback to an older version of razer synapse. Didn't work at all.
- Turn off razer synapse Relieve the problem a little bit. But the mouse jumping is still noticeable when i was trying to ping. And what is even more weird is that the mouse sensitivity seems to be much lower after I turned the razer synapse off.
- Disable game scanner of razer synapse Not only did I disable it in the razer synapse, I also disabled it in the service panel from the task manager. This is the best solution I found so far. But when I tried to spam the ping, the cursor still jumps randomly 1 time out of 10. Not sure why this solution works better then turning razer synapse off.
- Use a cheap 3$ mouse I bought from taobao.[sg-lulu] Done! Problem Solved! No laggy, no jumpy. Everything works perfect now.
I haven't tried the razer deathadder in other games. And if anybody else found a better solution other than ditching razer completely. Please let me know.
