Braum ult cooldown

I was playing braum last match and i died in the middle of casting my ult such that it still when off but the animation didn't finish, however the ult should no cooldown timer and i couldn't use it. i could use it after what would have been the cooldown for the ability. Basically the ult is going on cooldown after being used but the timer is not being activated over the ability icon
