My friend's friendlist was deleted when he logged on... I was still able to invite him, but he didnt see any of my messages in private chat. So i unfriended him and re-added him. But when I wanted to add him. I got an error saying: Player name does not exist. I am still able to visit his profile.

All my friends were "deleted", if they send me a message, they appear back on my list after a minute or so. I sent support a message and they sent me a reply about the whole right bar not showing, which isn't the issue I'm having. My friends list is showing like 5/5 total. It should be like 100 ppl on there even if offline.

There is currently an issue going on with Summoner Names which have special characters in them. Chances are your friend has a special character in the name and that is why the messsage "Player name does not exist" is showing up.
What I hear works for some players is blocking that particular player and then trying to add them again. This way a window will pop up asking if you really want to befriend a player which you have previously blocked. I hope it works out for you!
