Pretty much wasted over $2,000 on this game because of this.

This shit has been happening for over a month now, I've followed all of RIOT's help-fix solutions for this and also checked around the community for a solution to this problem. NO FIX. I've been getting this error multiple times a day when going from champion select to loading screen and I submitted a ticket with no response. I have already lost tons of LP because of this, not to mention I've been leave-bustered multiple times and added to the low-priority queue list MULTIPLE TIMES. I get reported after the end of every game because for some reason I CANNOT connect to the game. So now I'm stuck waiting for my account to get permanently banned OR if that doesn't happen, I'll have to wait 30+Minutes to get into a 5 Minute queue to wait 30 Minutes for a game I can't even connect to to end. So I would like to extend my eternal gratitude to RIOT. Your game is fun WHEN YOU CAN PLAY, but when you're in my situation which I know many other players are in, it sucks more ass than the sodomites stating that the 'Connection Issues are fixed'. So if a RIOTER could either give me an ACTUAL fix to this issue or I don't know, maybe remove the leave-buster BS on my account, that would be GREAT! But it wont happen, this thread will get buried because no one cares and I will have just wasted my time playing this game.

Hey Ēght!

Getting this error consistently is frustrating as hell, so I definitely understand your angst. I want to make sure that we can get this issue fixed for you, and it sounds like you are already on the right path with submitting a ticket. Do you mind replying back with your ticket number? I should be able to look into it and make sure it was properly escalated to one of our Tech Specialists.

Working with them one-on-one should allow us to determine what the root cause of the issue is, and get some specific solutions for you.

Looking forward to your reply!

Have you looked up the definition of insanity? This stuff pretty much defines it. If it didn't work last time... and it didn't work the time before that... which didn't work the time before that... what makes you think it will magically work if you do it again?

There isn't much you can do, besides repairing your client, or even reinstalling it.

I just had the same problem and I got punished by leaver buster...I don't get why Riot punishes players for being "afk" when the reconnect button doesn't even work. They should have some leniency on bugs/glitches like this. I hate how they make the players suffer for their mistakes.

Don't que up if your shit isnt working. End of story, fuck it. Do custom games to see if it's working or not.

Hey man, I used to get this issue all of the time, and my way of fixing it was stupid as hell, but ever since I did this it has never happened: I got a flash drive and installed league to it, and I just play off the flash drive. Hope this helps and always remember to run as administrator.

Cheers! ~I Like Zac

When testing out new things try them in custom games so you do not further damage your account.

Curling Veigar7/21/2015, 6:11:08 AM1 votes

I have a feeling I've seen you during ranked before

but the issue sucks, sorryabout that

First, relax. Take a deep breath. Your account won't be permanently banned for connection issues, even if they're persistent for a while. It's going to be okay.

It sounds to me like this is likely to be a routing issue somewhere between your ISP and Riot's ISP. Even if your ISP thinks everything is fine within their network, that doesn't mean everything is fine connecting you to Riot's servers in LA.

If you haven't already, try the logging steps listed here: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674-Network-System-and-League-of-Legends-Logs under "network analysis" and "tracert". If you can narrow down where the problem is happening, you might be able to help Riot and/or your ISP figure out what is wrong.

Hi, i had the same issue since patch 5.13, and i could solve it. ( although i play in euw)

What i did to solve this was to forward the ports rito recommends to.

Try it, it should work ( it did for me )

TheFameAnimal7/21/2015, 9:33:14 AM1 votes

Sounds stupid, but after getting this error, connect to the main lol website via google chrome or whatever (depending on region e.g. NA) and then start it again it MIGHT work but there's no guarantee. It very randomly worked for me and I was shocked when it did O_o

Johadgan7/21/2015, 9:58:20 AM1 votes

Only thing that fixed this issue for me was getting a new modem from my isp. I tried literally everything else.

Jweldy7/21/2015, 12:03:30 PM1 votes

I've had this problem before as well, I ended up re-installing my client and I haven't had the problem since.

Good luck though, hope you can get it fixed as I know it's really annoying to deal with.

There are a lot of issues that could cause a connection problem, everything from your NAT type to open programs on your computer. so here is my best guid on trying them all and see if any works for you. They are listed on order as which is fastest to do. you didnt provide the OS of your computer so im assuming its a Windows PC.

Close all applications running that are not LOL related. This includes background applications and may require you to go into processes to close some others. You should have a maximum of 9 background programs running at any given time.

Flushing DNS is super easy and a very quick test. open command prompt (CMD) and type "ipconfig /flushdns" (without quotes)

Try portfowarding. navigate to 192.168.0.1 in your web browser for router settings (look for a guide for your router) and open all the following ports. (if you require your IPV4 address you can type "ipconfig /a" in CMD, will be 192.168.0.# replacing # with a number. 5000 - 5500 UDP (League of Legends Game Client) 8393 - 8400 TCP (Patcher and Maestro) 2099 TCP (PVP.Net) 5223 TCP (PVP.Net) 5222 TCP (PVP.Net) 80 TCP (HTTP Connections) 443 TCP (HTTPS Connections) 8088 UDP and TCP (Spectator Mode)

While in your router config page disable the firewall. (your PC firewall is more then enough to stop any threats) also disable DDOS protection (unless you publicly give out your IP).

on your PC enable all LOL related .exe files in your firewall (including patcher, client and launcher etc...) for both inbound and outbound connections.

If all those others fail ask your ISP to preform a line test, Although i doubt anything will show up you might as well make sure. look on your router page for Logs, typically ISPs dont notify you of firmware updates and if one fails your pretty much screwed as they wont let you know or bother to tell you (some knowledge of computer systems may be required to decipher the crap they put on there, google is your best friend.

Yo this has been happening to me too for the past month. It's like 1 in every 10 games. It happens on two different computers. I have done everything to try to fix it. WTF can I do! what am I missing. Never had this problem before, and all of a sudden it happens not on one pc but TWO. come on now. This has to be on riots end.

ThanhSon7/21/2015, 8:04:52 PM1 votes

You shouldnt focus on the bug, you better should focus on the 2.000 $..da hell?

Celeste Benal7/21/2015, 8:21:26 PM1 votes

Solution: stop streaming porn while playing league. /troll

No seriously. Close any file sharing services, streaming programs, and even your internet browser. You'd be shocked how much bandwidth some of the common league sites sucks up because of all the video ads they serve.

Jasteus7/21/2015, 8:36:07 PM1 votes

I have the same issue as well, will work fine for X games then get exactly that, it goes like it's going to the loading screen with the champs, never makes it there, and says network issue, while I'm on wow, streaming lcs (i mostly play arams so as to not impact other players as much). I've pretty much given up on even trying to get ranked this season due to this issue. And I agree with the poster, this seems to have started happening a couple patches ago. You can close out of league, repatch, relogin, reconnect, over and over again, same issue. Can completely close out of league, go watch a movie, eat dinner etc, come back and be just fine. There doesn't appear to be a rhyme or reason to this

Simplicate7/21/2015, 11:42:13 PM1 votes

Might want to try contacting your ISP. I mean if its not the client since you said your rapaired it and all maybe its your internet.

HavinAGiggle7/22/2015, 1:16:50 AM1 votes

Mate, I know the feels. I haven't played League since Ekko's release because my game refuses to work. Nothing has fixed it. I'm too broke to buy new software and/or a new computer and repairing/reinstalling hasn't solved anything. You're welcome to join me in the lounge of RIP. You can hang your coat in the closet and drinks are in the mini-fridge.

BakedLotion7/22/2015, 1:26:08 AM1 votes

They need to fix the firewall bug when you try to restart the game. You have to restart the entire client instead of pressing re-connect when you exit or else the popup will come up

Malzahard Mode7/22/2015, 3:50:39 AM1 votes

Hey, i don't know if you've tried this or not but the next time you get this try resynchronizing your internet time. I'll get this error every now and then (usually only once on a given day) and this usually fixes it and allows me to play. If this is the case, there are programs (free) that will periodically re-sync your internet time.

Orisi7/22/2015, 5:15:00 AM1 votes

I typed this whole thing then I got a forced reload and lost it... The short version is that the error can be caused by a bunch of non-connection issues. I found out that playing off a Mac with Razer headphones and Razer software, league didn't recognise them as a valid sound output so would crash like this whenever I tried to enter a game. A patch update had reset my audio settings to "default output" so when I turned it to the headset to voice chat the game would stop working.

As stupid as it sounds, stripping all your peripheral software back to basics might help with this.

Vaenilskil7/22/2015, 2:35:07 PM1 votes

Hes not the only one with this issue, myself and about 13 other friend mostly MAC USERS are all having the problem its not just one person its your god damn patch

Rosa Parks7/23/2015, 8:43:59 AM1 votes

I also have been getting this issue ever since patch 5.13. Every 5 matches or so, It would randomly not let me connect to the game. No matter how much i tried to reconnect or repair my patch, run it as administrator, etc. It just wouldn't let me in the game at all, I haven't been punished until recently today by the leaver-buster. I'm not asking Riot to hurry and fix this problem, but at least acknowledge it. It's been affecting my friends and I for quite some time now.

Thanks.

Dorans Hat7/21/2015, 3:54:34 AM1 votes

If you have antivirus try disabling it. If that works then add the LoL folder to the exceptions

ModWulf Helhammer7/21/2015, 3:58:59 AM1 votes

I'm confused...how have connections issues cost you money?

Ēght7/21/2015, 4:12:02 AM1 votes

Update: I got this so.....Thx Rito

Calabok7/21/2015, 4:36:19 AM1 votes

see what happens with a different ISP. Temporarily buy tethering for your phone and connect wirelessly over it (hotspot). See if same thing happens.
