Help - Account taken

Not sure what is going on, but I am locked out by a screen and no matter how many times I log out and log back in the screen is there - then when I click it - it tells me I need a new username. I've had the username "pony" since 2012. Not sure what to do, but i've submitted a ticket, asking for other summoners help here.

Unfortunately, you have to change your username.

It's pretty fucking random it seems, because i myself have had an almost random line of characters since waaaay back, and i doubt anyone has had that exact collection of letters. And now i was forced to change it.

I don't fucking get it.
