20 minute penalty bug - 2 different bugs

One Bug:

NEW CHAMP SELECT I'm on a 20 minute AFK penalty, and when you reverted to the "new" champ select after the 20 minutes, the game hung and I was in queue waiting for a match for 1 hour, both times.

CURRENT/OLD CHAMP SELECT Then when you reverted back to the "current/old" champ select, after the 20 minutes, the game is "Failed to connect to (something)". That happened 4x in a row, I even tried restarting client and computer.

Another Bug: Caitlyn points don't add to your total. You get IP but not the champion points that get you to level 5 max icon. This was happening before the new update, but I just reported it now. I'm stuck at 12,600 points for 2 weeks already.

Now I can't play at all. :/

I'm on Mac OS X 10.9.5
