Numbers are too big, at smaller sizes they come out of the box. Resolution changes have no effect, same with different champions, windowed/borderless/fullscreen modes and client repair.
Running Windows 8.1 on 1920x1080 resolution.
I second this, my numbers are ridiculously big. Which sucks since I downsized to a 13.9 inch laptop which makes it VERY un-proportional
I'm not the only one experiencing this????? I thought it was a font change at first but upon sliding my HUD size up and down I noticed the numbers just don't change size. It's really crowded and overstuffed looking and distracting, I hope they fix it soon.
Did this occur after the patch specifically?

Have the same, it looks like when u make the size of the HUD smaller the text stays the same size and come out of the boxes and go over each others. also when u make the HUD smaller the chat is changing as well while there is a different slider for the chat so it shouldn't change. I hope that its only a small bug and they will change it.
I forgot to add that after I tried a Repair, my Chat scales with the HUD slider AND the chat slider, forcing me to either have a big HUD or a tiny chat
I told riot about this problem, but the german support only told me, that it's normal so... To be honest, i think we have to wait for the new HUD (but i don't like the new HUD xD)
I noticed it too. First I thought my HUD scaling was off, but everything was still normal in the settings menu.
It's not super annoying, but it's weird, especially after playing with a smaller font for so long.
Lmao I thought it had something to do with the new UI coming up but I see it is not. Same issue.
I don't think this is a bug. I'm pretty sure they are testing the numbers being bigger or something, perhaps in conjunction with the new HUD release later this month... but these numbers look awful.
For me i like the bigger numbers alot :D

This was happening to me as well, I repaired the client thinking it was a fault on my own part but it's not. I hope Riot fixes this soon, I can barely see chat unless I turn up the HUD size which is unneeded space.
Also having this problem. Seems the font doesn't shrink with UI size anymore. Started happening after the last patch
I cannot have a big HUD just so I can see chat. Having a big HUD makes it so much harder to play and not being able to see chat if I make my HUD small is also really bad. The numbers are just an annoying addition to all of this. Pls fix this soon Riot.

I tried reinstalling and it doesn't help.
I don't have that problem, but a few friends of mine have it and asked me to help them but nobody of us found a solution. One of my friends reinstalled the whole launcher but the problem lasts. It's there till the patch. Don't know why some have the problem and others not. They have Windows 8 or 7 / 1920x1080. We sendet a ticket to League of Legends Support but don't have an answer yet ... Let me know if some of you get an answer or found a solution.

This probably is a bug related to the new HUD they're testing on the PBE, maybe they forgot to pull something before they shipped 5.11 out
