Cannot enter champion select or dynamic queue lobbies

When entering a champion select or dynamic queue lobby, I see a black screen rather than the normal champion select/lobby. If it is a champion select, I can exit the client without a problem and am unable to re-enter queues immediately upon re-logging in. I have noticed that when I am unable to enter champion select/lobbies I am also unable to view my mastery pages. I assume this is related, but am not sure.
