Lost but got victory instead? (other team didn't surrender)

I was just in a game where we had pretty big bug. I'm positive the other team did not surrender and plus we all were confused in the lobby about it lol (one guy on the other side even had a boost going for the game.) Basically my team surrendered, we completely lost the game at this point but when our nexus blew up we got the victory instead and they got defeat.
