LeaverBuster refreshes/loops indefinitely (Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite)

Vote this up people. I've seen a thread but it's not in the Report A Bug section.

After the lower priority queue counts down to 00:00, the client resets the timer and starts to loop indefinitely starting back at the 5 minute mark. I repaired my client thinking it was an issue with the new patch, and it seemed to have worked at the time. I went ahead and I've gone AFK again intentionally to get placed in a queue again. This time, the timer loops indefinitely (now at 10:00) even after running the repair tool. I tried it on many different Mac systems and I still get an infinite loop. Either LeaverBuster is broken, or the timer shown on the client is incorrect. There have been a number of reports of this incident.

This should be a high priority case.

Im having the same issues with my windows7 pc, I have been in que for 3 hours!!!!!!!! the shortest i have waited is a little more than an hour, I dont know why it is giving me problems!? But how am i supposed to play my 5 games to get rid of Leaverbuster if i cant even play 1 F***ING game!!!! Please help me!!!!!

Woopsie, just posted another thread on this, but didn't see this one. I'm having the same problem, but I have to wait 20 minutes in between due to testing of my nvidia driver fix. Haven't been able to play since yesterday.

Hey Riot instead of punishing your loyal players with this ridiculous system, why don't you try fixing your bugs that lead to those afks and DCs. I'm really turned off from this new attitude and no way I'm spending a cent on your stores. If someone meets your software requirements then you shouldn't punish them for your bugs. This is clearly biased against socio-economic lines; Riot are you fascist now?

I've gone through 7 cycles of a 20 min penalty from leaverbuster. When will I ever be able to play again? RIOT FIX THIS!!!!!

I just had this same issue. Bring up your task manager and stop all processes that is running league. Open the game back up and it worked for me.

Yup. Same here, I am on a pc, I wait the 5m timer and then nothing. It just loops it over and over and over. Any ideas guys? Could use some help to get past this terrible excuse for a "punishment."

If this happened on my Mac client, and i have a windows client as well, would this same timer resetting still happen on the Windows side?

Please league can you work... IT RESET 2 TIMES FOR ME TO DO SOMETHING AND the only reason why I got into this system is because of the new map lag. I literally got 0 FPS and had to leave and then league makes a system that's super buggy!

Just wanted to update here. This only happens in Coop vs AI.

TeamBuilder is OK, and surprisingly i dont get put in the lower priority queue in PvP

This is the exactly same problem I'm having!! There was a game crash caused by internet or server disconnection, and I got this leaverbuster warning when I reconnected to the game.

something Very weird is Going on with my games guys. Every time i enter a Game it goes to the cart loading character to join game and when it finaly gets in it says ive been desconected and the game close on me?? and this stupid thin keeps telling sending me warnings aboud leaving games im like wt..? what is Going on? all this is so weird and its so unfair you tell me that i will be baned by leaving games . it all is so weird> its not my fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same issue on my account, I think RIOT should put their attention on repairing the bug on mac and win7 system instead of creating such stupid leavebuster system, large amount of victims who punished by leavebuster are that players who suffer from internet and firewall bugs, and the player who always go afk will not be punished cus they didn't leave the game, they just keep staying in the game and did nothing. RIOT, if u guys don't pay attention on this retard leavebuster bug, u will loss a large numbers of loler.

Having the same issue, I just wasted 2 hours on 10 min loops unable to play a single match.

Leave buster should be disabled for CO-OP vs AI since a bot leaves the game if a player is dc'ed.

I believe the Team Builder queue circumvents the LeaveBuster lower priority queue, that's how I got rid of my last one. I'm on Mavericks.

I had the same problem, but it doesn't apply to the teambuilder queues, so I found that if you're willing to put up with teambuilder for 5 matches, you can play your 5 low priority matches in teambuilder, Though this isn't the best solution, it's the only reasonable and 100% effective one that I've seen. Hope this helps!

I had the same problem with my win7 PC. After a game-restart that bug was gone.

Cool, didn't even leave a game and still in leaverbuster loop. A game this big shouldn't be performing this poorly. This is going to swing around full circle and bite Riot in the butt if not handled with priority. Leaver buster is a bust. Get rid of it.

it's a constant struggle. i even emailed them. they said to send them proof, i sent it. never received a response.

Go play another mode like 3v3 or 5v5 beginner to work off your penalty. Just pray to god you don't get more time due to riot's crappy server issues. Yes they actually did penalize me for that. nothing wrong my my isp (yes I called them) and my computer's well conditioned. I keep getting disconnected :( The key is to not play the same mode twice in a row. So I just played intermediate bots 5v5, if I play that same mode, It'll infinitely loop. Alternate with something else, It worked for me

Same issue with mine and I also recorded it with camtasia. I would've been done with my leaverbuster punishment by now if it'd stop infinitely looping from 20 to 0 back to 20. Also, no, restarting your client/logging in again does not fix it. It repeatedly loops no matter what.
