Spectator Client Kill Announcer

Hi, i'm a starting lol youtuber. I record my games in spectator mode for higher video quality as i can remove everything that isn't the plays. However when i hide all of the spectator mode things (ex: HUD, Fog of war box, etc;) the announcer stops playing and the kill boxes don't show up. This worked fine last patch and i didn't see anything on this patch. Is there something wrong with my spectator client or just something in the patch?
