Promotion bug?

I was up for promotion, ranked Silver 1. I won 3 out of 5 games and when the 5th game finished I got the following message as I was returned to the lobby: Congratulations! You are now up for promo games? What the actual f..?

Would appreciate some feedback on this ASAP.
