'Update Failed' Repairing just gets stopped by 'Update Failed' Launcher closes when I click Launch

I was mid game when my league just froze, so I opened task manager to see that league had stop responding, so I close the program and go to re-open it only when the launcher opens it says 'Update Failed - Unspecified error occurred, please check the logs for more information'

I check the logs and its just a standard crash looking error, but nothing in there i can see that will help me fix this.

So i decide to use the launchers built in 'Repair' Function. It starts and everything is doing fine, then around 2000 files scanned, i get the same 'Update Failed - Unspecified error occurred, please check the logs for more information' error again, and its just stopped repairing.

Whenever I click launch now the button it just closes the launcher and nothing happens, it ends the process.

I've sent the logs in but I was wondering if anyone here has also experienced this problem and has a fix for it?

When I now select the 'Repair' option, nothing happens, and clicking the 'Launch' Button just makes it go grey for a while, then closes the launcher only to have nothing follow up.

I've had this same problem for over two months or so now. Seems when it goes into this loop it's impossible to stop the "LoLLauncher.exe *32" process. It's running in task manager and trying to "end process / end process tree" does nothing, the process continues to run.

I've tried logging off my windows user account and logging back in / changing regions / repairing the client / reinstalling the game / even clean installing the OS. I've done all of those things on multiple occasions and it has not solved the issue.

The only way I can get it to end is to do a full restart which doesn't help at all because you usually will miss early level 1 waves and come into game level 1 vs level 3+. The problem seems intermittent from what I can tell personally. If it isn't I sure haven't noticed any reoccurring prerequisites leading to up this issue.
