Patch 5.14 Game Crushing mac

Can play for a good 5minutes then game crashes.

I don't know if this is linked to the same bug but on the new aram map the background of the shop's window was red (which makes the text unreadable).

Same here. 5.14 crashes a lot on Mac.

in a game i recive a bugsplat like 7 times .. i play for about 5 min and i get like kicked from the game , even if im just walkin around .. HELP PLS

This patch is incredibly broken on Mac, and I can’t see how Riot could release a patch this broken. How could they possibly miss that the shop is red, every single game? I feel like Riot is neglecting the Mac version because its a smaller part of the playerbase. I mean heck, it still technically is Beta.

Some items didn't load.

• purple grass
• red shop background
• on one crash, a big gnar popped up and everything was black. pls see screencap.

**On a perfectly capable mac laptop which was running the previous patch just fine.

League crashes mid game when you open shop multiple times, sometimes if you walk around the map it will crash as well.. It's getting annoying. Please fix it ASAP.

Yup, that's an issue for me too, glad to know that I'm not alone. Hope this problem will be soon fixed, so we'll all enjoy Bilgewater !

I can't play because of 7 bugs plats and reports from other teams. Now I have to wait 20 mins before each queue...THANKS RIOT! Why did I ever leave Blizzard/WoW? When they have issues, they have a service center, a call-line, email and all. This Riot, no-correspondence nonsense it utterly a sham. Please fix, Riot.

Same here, mac client. Everything worked well in last patch. I also get the red shop and the random game crashes. The shop icon items also are kind of screwed up. I can see the items below the scrolling border... I've been playing LOL for quite a while now and this has to ben the worst patch update in history. The HUD looks good, I like the new music, but it's unplayable.

Does anyone also have a weird red background in the shop?

plz fix or I'm literally never playing again i don't understand how u could purposefully chose to institute a patch that would render the game unplayable for any user let alone what i assume to be thousands. i hope its fixed promptly or i hope the new skins are only available during this time and u lose revenue due to people not playing or caring about it during this time. also sorry for raging I'm just really sad and feel like there's no answer from riot on these posts and any assurance that they are going to put the old hud back on until they fix the issue. would be nice to know something......

Same for me, red background on shop, multiple bugsplats, when i try to scale hud or minimap it crashes. I want my Twisted Fate icon :(

I have been facing the same problem too, both in bot game and pvp, creating a huge trouble and making it impossible to play anymore. Please fix it asap. My version of the MacBook Pro is OSX 10.10.4, 2014 Mid, 15inch, 2.2GHz, i7, 16GB memory. I am pretty sure my computer is fine. Besides, there is a red screen behind the shop with no reason why. And the computer becomes super hot after running the new patch.

its not even random thing. it happens 100%. such a terrible patch.

I have 51 pings, and after 5 minutes the game crashes frequently like 3-10 times' in 10 minutes please fix rito

Yeah the same problem with my MAC. The game crashes at random on all maps, back ground of shop is red and sometimes the double, triple, quadra and pentakill announcements are unformatted and in a different language. This makes the game unplayable. Rito please :(

Hello I play in EU WEST and after new patch 5.14 my game keeps on crashing constantly. I play in Mac. It normally crashes after purchasing an item on the game store. So after going back the first time (b) it crashes (normally if i buy the next item. I played with Miss Fortune and Sona today. I don't know if this happens with other champions or what. I am reinstalling lol. Hope it works.

I get the same bug.. i get bugsplat every 10 min or so on my mac.. before the patch the game never chrashed PLS FIX IT

Could it be your guy's computer specs. My MAC runs the game perfectly fine, but I do have a MAC Pro, 3.5 ghz 6 core xeon e5, 32gb ram, 3gb v ram. Maybe the MAC versions minimum specs were raised with this patch, or maybe my machine is just processing through all the crap that's breaking the game. Well anyway, that's my thought on the matter.

same here. mac client. crashes every single game 100%. its not only mac problem right? if mac client users queue up his/her teammates will get the defeat cause of 4v5.

Game crashes every time the match is about to start and then i got placed in a low priority Q for 5 more matches. Its ridiculous that I'm getting punished for leaving when i wasn't leaving. THE GAME CRASHES EVERYTIME I WANNA PLAY. -_- its really irritating. and the crazy thing is that i was looking forward to playing with this new patch.

How did I know a game breaking bug like this would happen with such a HUGE patch? And of course Riot seems to ignore the entire Mac fan base because it's a smaller portion of players. How long has the Mac client been in beta mode? That's how uncertain they are of their Mac client, they won't take it out of beta because if they do, they won't have the "But it's still beta, yall can't complain!" excuse anymore! I love playing league, just wish they would respect Mac users...

Every game, I either crash repetitively, or freeze completely, without being able to do anything but restart my mac. I was hype for the new hud, but now I have lower priority queue for 20 mins, because I crashed (again) just before the end of the game, and people reported me.

great just got a 5 game lower priority queue because me playing on mac causes the game to be simply unplayable. rito why?

I'd like to point out another problem: lots of users, including me, are experiencing a lower fps ratio. This patch destroyed a year of excellent work.

The important question is what are riot doing about it?

I'm also on a mac (specifically a mid-2012 macbook pro) and having the same problems. I played one ARAM game with the new bilgewater map and HUD, and I bugsplatted 7 times within those 30 minutes. I'm also seeing the red shop screen as well as strange, large red and blue boxes when hovering over enemy or allied champions. League is unplayable for me until this crash problem is fixed. :|

I don't care about a red screen at least make it playable. I regret ever giving money to this game. Here i come DOTA/Heroes
