As this is my only way to get help because you need to login to summit a support ticket im tying to get my account back. After the username change 2 days ago i have lost all ability to login to my account as it says both the old and new usernames are not part of any account. On the night when it asked me to change names i made sure to wright the new one down just in case and was even going to update my email, which i couldn't because to access my settings it wanted to verify my old email which i dont have anymore. So i submitted a support ticket and the next day it had kicked my out of everything but the boards, for whatever reason. As of right now besides this there is nothing i can do. I cant login to anything to even get support and if i cant get back in iv lost 7 years and more money then i know because of riot trying to update thinks to fast.

Don't log out of boards. Download another web browser and try contacting Support from an alternate account explaining the issue.

Riot rarely looks at these boards. The Reddit will probably ban you using some vague rule because they hate any criticisms of Riot even if its actual bug reports. Your best bet is trying to push for Support's attention and to regularly post here. Even though Riot rarely looks at these boards, you might get lucky and someone can get the right people looking at your issue. But until then you need to go through Support because they'll be able to make sure the right people get your information to resolve the issue.

Thing is with Riot Support - expect them to be stubborn or dismissive at first. They're dealing with THOUSANDS of tickets. They want to resolve individual tickets as fast as possible. If they're claiming user error and giving you generic statements that look like a bot made them, open another ticket, reiterate your issue was ignored, and keep pressing. Eventually they can't ignore you.

Its troublesome its set up like this but its Riot's system. If they wrong you, you have to fight for your account.

Same thing happened to me as well. I changed my username and it reset my entire account. 7 years gone overnight.

This just happened to me too, both usernames, new and old no longer work to log in

Just came here to say that I think the new Riot account update is r%%%%%ed. At least let me use the same in-game username as my new account name. smh

yeah it happen to me too but u can send a ticket while not connected and i just got my account back. it took me a week but i got it back.
