deliberately losing ranked match to get demoted idea
I was in a game where our mid laner deliberately told us she was feeding so she could get demoted. I have an idea for riot, if a person playing league wishes to get demoted, they should be able to chose so. For example, If i'm gold one, i should be able to go all the way down to bronze one if I so choose so as not to have to "grind my way down" and take others with me and make them lose.
Now this is the unimportant part that's not necessary to the story, just me venting. I am not good at league of legends, I have been playing this game for two years and am barely bronze one with a grand total of 51 days of play. now as of recent, my friends have stopped playing League because they see this game as not a rewarding processes as fortnite, overwatch and even mario party with friends. At one point and honestly now more than ever I feel that thought lurking in the back of my head, yet am still drawn to League, maybe it's because i enjoy the challenge and while this game does make me feel alot of self-hatred, I understand it's because i'm a bad player. so I play on... I've been on an extremely bad losing streak, yet i've been coming back, because i want to learn and improve myself and I enjoy it. But the leaguer "strawberrySoju" was too much. It is with a truly heavy heart that I say I feel as though i've lost any reason to play league of legends. I am not afraid to say I suck, but when there are players who wish to take an entire team down with them like in my game It makes a person like me realize that i will never feel satisfied with this game. I will never feel i did a good job because even if i were on a 10 game winning streak, it only takes one REALLY bad loss to make me not want to play for the rest of the night.
So in conclusion i feel as though riot should allow people to demote themselves as much as they want BUT have to climb back up. While this will have a lot more high elo players in groups of low elo, i feel as though it would not only be a better learning experience for low elo players, but almost entirely eliminate a reason for someone to ruin ranked games for others.
