The screen becomes black after champion select

After today's update, I can't play games anymore, my laptop's screen keeps going black after both team's champion selecting is done. The only thing I can see on my screen is a mouse. I try to reconnect, but it's not working. All I can do is waiting. The screen will become normal again when the feedback comes out, and all I can see is my teammates swearing and a heartbreaking DEFEAT. I already got 4 AFK in rank because of it, I feel bad for my teammates and at the same time I really want to play. Please, someone help me.

Same thing happened to my friend on Windows. He can't join any game today, just black screen. Did Riot break something with yesterday's mini patch?

Got the same problem, I am playing on a Macbook pro. Hope they will fix it soon

I've been having a similar problem in champ select. The screen will go black and I can't pick a champion, but I can still see my mouse and everything. I've dodged 2 games bc of this.
