Ornn ult seems like it's lagging

The hit box on my screen isn't the real hit box. I had this happen to me in two games now where it runs awkwardly slow towards me and I can't seem to be able to hit it. When I later watch the replay of the game it just looks like a normal ult I just didn't hit. Same for my teammates and enemies they see the normal ult. I had a consistant 40 ping so it shouldn't be lag.
