Hi, I have a problem in the update process to patch 5.6. Im using a MacBookPro late 2009. The MAC client stops at "1 file scanning" ad "33%". It stayed there for more than 30 min, then I closed and re-opended ... no way. What should I do?
I am having a similar issue, however mine freezes straight away, the issue being with the client itself not the update taking place.
I am having the same problem. As soon as the client starts, it freezes. It loads all of the image link frames, and starts the patching process by checking files, but the whole client just freezes and is unresponsive.
Mac Specs:
Restarted computer, router, and client. Cleared all cookies and cache in all browsers and machine. I have left it running for over 10 minutes, no change.
This started happening last night before the patching began, I had to start the client and immediately hit 'Play' or else the client would freeze.
I'm still stuck at 33 as we speak... left it like that for a couple of minutes and this is my second try already.
tried restarting the client a few times and when you click a link on the patcher immediately after it starts up it doesn't freeze for some reason. i was stuck on scanning files after that for a while until i decided to fuck around in the game files, eventually ended up deleting League of Legends/Contents/LOL/RADS/Projects/lol_air_client/releases and deleted the folder that was in the folder releases, i just finished updating my client (step 1 at least) and now it's back to scanning files, but at a rather high pace. might update a bit later after it's done downloading
same problem here.. tried everything the internet offers.. nothing works.. deleting files, restarting mac, router and everything.. online hotspot..clicking on things fast.. renewing this tcpip stuff.. changed to us server...nothing helps..
just calculating differnces all the time..
I've been stuck at 33%, up to 23,000+ files, and counting scanned. Went to town, did some errands, came back an hour or 2, still scanning. BEST!
So, today when I patched my league it had to scan ALL the files and then update. Well even though my client is patched I got into a queue and was loading into a game then the "firewall" error came up ( even though I played a game right before the one I tried to load in ) and I had to close my game and reopen it and it's scanning ALL the files AGAIN! I REALLY don't want to get a leaver buster for that, because I have gotten one from the same reason already... The leaver buster system isn't that great when it comes to problems like these.... :/

Every single time the games updates, I can't play for like a month. I've tried just about every single thing offered for patch 5.6 save for uninstalling the game (which I have tried for past patches with no help) It's really frustrating because I really do enjoy the game, but I'm tempted to just quit playing because every time there's an update, I can never get it it to work unless I try a thousand times!
I have had this exact problem for the past week or so (since the patch came out). I'm pretty frustrated because I've tried every suggestion on this forum and then some. My internet is horrible at my apartment so I thought it was just timing out every time it tried to update, but even after trying at my friend's place, it still doesn't work. Don't know what else to do at this point :/

Ok I've tried all this stuff and re installed it multiple times and nothing will work my update gets to like 85% and then just stops and will sit at 0 kbps and then starts calculating differences it says and is scanning files any help on this would be appreciated
