[CLIENT] Black Patches Bug

Description

When using the new client , the client frequently appears with many black patches that cover up the client. The amount of patches vary, sometimes covering a small part of the client or at other times, completely covering the whole client. I've found that moving my cursor across the client where the black patches are, removes them but not completely as they normally reappear if I do something else on the client such as scrolling down or up, viewing someone's profile or disenchanting a skin shard. Options and links are still clickable but the black patches makes it a nuisance to navigate through the client.

Reproducing the bug

This bug occurs most when in the loot section of the client. Clicking on a skin shard or any loot causes the client to blink and it's at this point that the black patches appear. However, trying to reproduce the bug can be inconsistent.

Solutions

Restarting the client fixes this completely but it often happens again. Also, viewing someone's profile on your friends list can fix this issue but does not work all the time.

thanks for this post! this happens to me all the time but not to the extreme as your screen shots. but yes itll black out a portion of the screen and make it hard to select champs and that sort of thing. im not sure what causes this. but i will try reloading the game when it appears to see if that helps. perhaps changing my visual settings to a lower setting will help? we will see

I have the exact same bug! Black patches just randomly appear in the launcher, it has already screwed up my champion select several times... Restarting fixes it but it awlays comes back. No actual fix yet? I'm running on win7, maybe it has somthing to do with that.
