Dark screen in champion select

Okay so I've ran into this bug 4 times in a row now. It starts when I go to load into champion select when the leader starts to ban my league of legends clients goes dark not fully black like its off but darker and it won't let me type in the text box or select a champion. I figured it was just a bug that I needed to re login and next time I loaded in it did the exact same thing and I couldn't interact with anything. I got a 30 minute wait time for not being able to select a champion and now that's happened 4 times. I haven't been able to play. But this last time it went through to the point that my champ box light up for my turn to select a champion and then went instantly dark and wouldn't let me select anyone or type in the text box. I'm not sure what's causing this but any feed back would be nice. And this is ranked games I'm trying to load into.
