cant enter game after champ select

so this started yesterday. after i select my champion and the game switches from the client to the actual game. im still stuck in the client and it just has a button that says reconnect. i can click it a million times and it wont let me join in. ive never had this issue in the past. i currently am using xfinity wifi hotspot. no modem or router at the moment. ive been using this hotspot for over a month and ive always been able to play the game on it. with 19 ms. my computer is a asus assensio with upgrades. i really am clueless. ive checked my firewall settings. i run %fetch% and prefetch and delete background files before each play. i have already tried to uninstall the game and redownload. nothing has fixed this issue
