Morde Ultimate Bug

I'm not sure if this was a Twisted Tree Line specific bug or not but my buddy playing Morde goes to ult the Ziggs in this clip and literally nothing happens and it eats his ult. After watching it a couple of times the only thing we can think of is that he was leaving that bush, and in the process of laying down his E, but were not sure if that's the reason. The ziggs didn't have a qss so it wasn't that. It also happened to him when trying to ult the WW but we figured that was an interaction of him being cc immune during his Q and it must have been pixel perfect or something. Anyone else run into this?

If morde loses vision in any way (including brush), the ult is wasted. It's why caitlyns ult gives true sight of the target, it used to do the same thing.
