Well Thresh lands a hook on to Azir right after Azir used his dash and thats when i throw out my Lux snare which passes through him.

What was that shield thingy on azir after the stun hit him?
I had this issue yesterday with three different champs i played against. Vi the snare hit she still moved towards me to kill me twice. And on two AP champs their end I Q'd to snare and it went right through them. I reported them I am not sure if it's a new script or bug either it's annoying. And lately I have found some champs can still use their abilities after I snare which is bs too. This is Lux's only escape really.
