Interesting Issue

Same, when the game start in team builder queue, my LoL client came back to the main menu. When i clicked on "play" it said me "you are already in a game". I closed LoL and reconnect and now can't do anything exept look my background paper when i click on "reconnect"

Guys i found a temporary solution. Simply restart league and switch the patcher to a different region..... let it patch then switch back to the original region. IT WORKED FOR ME! LIKE SO PEOPLE CAN SEE! send a thank you my way too ;D

Man, me and a friend just had this happen to us too. we live 2000 miles away from each other and it minimized but will not start the game, just says pleace reconect. When i click it, it minimizes again but does not connect

Yeah, I was actual one of the 3 people mentioned above. Same error, when the match went to launch it just sort of disappeared. After multiple attempts to reconnect I simply gave up. After the match was finished I was given the LeaverBuster Warning. Even then the client was still bugged and I had to fully close it just to get back to the home screen.

I was in the game with the creator of this thread. Got kicked out of the league client before the game even started. When I could finally log back into league (which took several attempts and a full restart of my computer), I was asked to sign the leaver buster agreement, which I did. I tried making a making a custom game to see if I could log into a client again. Get kicked and keep getting this message now =/

This was the game that Purodyuusaa and my others friends were in with me. I informed the members of the other team in the game as well and they understood what was happening(Nice players as well). So we decided to end the game immediately.

Same thing happened to me, tried like 5 times and the game was done, friend who got in said 2 people on the opponents team didnt connect either, so just posting here more or less so leaverbuster nonsense cant be used against me.

I got precisely the same problem, it wouldn't actually open the game window after entering a game, and then showed the friend I was playing with, who did manage to get in, as being online, but not in a game... really annoying as it's probably going to not let me play for a bit because of the bugs in riots system.

Okay, I got the same problem too. The game started but I was not sent to the loading screen. I tried at least 8 times (with many laptop resets) to reconnect to the game but the pvp.net launcher just kept minimizing after pressing "reconnect".

So I tried logging into my SMURF account aaaaaaaaand the weirdest thing happened. .. I got logged in to a different account? Like what's up with that? I tried playing a custom game with that account and the same problem occurred.

AND I went to log back in to my main account to find out my match was finished and eventually received a LeaverBuster warning.

This is happening to me too. Second time around trying to start a game tonight and the game client just minimizes with the game not starting up.

Same thing happened to me while playing with some friends, game goes away right after champ select, go back to client, client says to reconnect, press that it minimizes again. Got a leaverbuster warning. Have tried restarting computer and repairing the client to no avail.

I am not going to SIGN my name on this when i did not go afk and i did not leave the game it would not let me in the game so that is on you riot so ya fix your problem plz or i am doing to play Smite for now on

Had this just happen to me. I restarted my client 8 times before completely giving up. I was even in a skype call with my friend when they were in the game and they were doing really good. We would have won if this bug didn't happen. I think Riot will probably do something about this soon since this is a widespread bug happening so quickly.

Yep, happened to me and another friend. :( what will my team do w/o their :( Even tried a bot game, custom 10 still not reconnecting into games.

Avast detected the LolLauncher and LeagueOfLegends as viruses. You need to go to your virus chest and add it to exclusions. I did that and now it actually works.

How to restore files:

Right click the avast icon in your tray and open avast user interface Click on statistics Component status Virus Chest Right click LeagueOfLegends.exe and LoLLauncher.exe and click restore and add to exclusions

Same thing happened to me. I thought if I uninstalled avast it would be fine, it wasnt. I know reinstalled avast and have nothing in my virus chest, but still have the problem. Am I going to have to uninstall and reinstall?

I'd be impressed if you could use the same computer from different houses. :P

I was going to suggest checking your antivirus, or possibly attempting the 'repair client' option prior to logging in, but it seems you fixed it!

One thing i'd suggest is editting your main post, and adding in the solution. That way other people with this issue who click on this thread and immediately see a potential solution. I'm sure you'd have appreciated that back when it happened to you.

FIXED! Ive been having the same issue since Sun. Dec 7 ~12:30am. I can chat, but I cant reconnect when I push the reconnect button.

I tried both fixes suggested. I changed patch regions and let it patch. I went into avast storage chest and gave lol.exe permisions. Fixed it.
