The website says that certain champions are on sale, there's a banner saying 50% off, and then the champion still costs the same amount of BE. This applies to all of the champions on sale, but here's a screenshot of varus, who's allegedly on sale until 12/21. As you can see there's a 50% off banner, but no discount in BE. In the past at least 6 months champion sales have always had a BE discount associated to them too.

No one really pays attention, so it makes sense that riot would try to get cheap and make us grind harder. Same thing happened with runes, they didn't change the price for the bundle for 3 months. It cost more to buy 10 runes in the bundle than buying 10 runes seperatly. And they made money off of it. No one noticed until someone mentioned it on forums.
Its not like you calculate prices in the store to see if your getting scammed right? lol
