Zoomed In Whenever There Is a New Patch

So whenever there is a new patch and I load into a game, my game always ends up being really zoomed into the top left of the screen. I can fix this by deleting the game.cfg file in the config folder but this ends up setting all my settings to default and it is starting to get really annoying. I have done this for the last 4 patches now and haven't really thought much about a permanent solution until now. Does anyone know how to fix this?
