MAC Client crashes and freezes computer?!

Alright so I'm usually not one to write discussion posts, but this is getting out of hand. I recently have been getting many many many MAC client crashes to the point where it freezes up my whole computer and the only way of getting out of it is to hard reset my computer every time. I know Riot has said they have been working on it, but it's been more than a few days now and its been getting worse as time goes on.. Is anyone else having this same exact problem? It has caused me to lose more than 4-5 ranked games and probably a lot of "reports for being afk/leaving the game" when it isn't even my fault.
