I don't know if these has anything to do with new support items, but I was unable to upgrade to locket despite having enough gold. It says that I need 2200 despite already having all the other items. I also noticed that throughout the game the gold needed was wrong. SCREENSHOT I ran it straight up mid when I took this screenshot right after buying
Just had the same problem with Ardent. It even showed the correct price but wasn't highligted and couldn't buy it. It's not appearing only on OCE server I see.
Same problem for me on EUW, im playing Thresh and literally can't upgrade anything. Not a single item except boots and eye of the aspect EDIT: You need to have cash for the full priced item. Buy it and the difference of gold is used as usual
I had the same problem just with buying censer and redemption , it is game breaking that you are required to get the full gold value even if you bought the minor items for this item and ruined one ranked game for me .

Same for me. Played Bart, started blue support item. Only Items I could finish were Locket and Knights Vow. Killed a ranked.
This occurred to me just now as

I started with 
and I could not buy 
nor 
eventhough I had more than sufficient gold.
I tried selling 
and Undo the purchase and eventually it sort of worked.
Long story short, this needs to be fixed because it cost me my ranked game.
